When can I see my class?
Classes will be available the first day of each semester. If you have just registered, you will not see your classes on D2l until the following day.

What if I don’t see my class on my D2L homepage?
If you have just registered, you will not see your classes on D2l until the following day.
If you cannot see a course you are enrolled in, click the plus sign (+) next to the Department for the class you are taking. This will expand and show your course.
I forgot my password?
You will be able to retrieve your password by verifying your username. To verify your username, enter your username in the username text field. You will be sent a password reset link to the email address associated with your username.

How does the pager work?
The pager is an easy way to contact your instructor or other students in the class. To send a page, select the person you would like to page from the contact list and then click on the pager icon.
What are the system requirements to run D2L?
How do I know if my quizzes or homework have been summated?
After each submission, click on the quiz or drop box tab to verify the quiz or homework has been submitted. If you do not see that there has been a submission for the corresponding quiz or homework, try submitting it once more. If this does not work, please contact the helpdesk.
I don’t have my own computer; how do I save my work?
You can save your work on the Idrive on from any MRCTC computer once you have logged in. It is also a good idea to purchase a flash drive to save your work on. This will enable you to take your work with you.
When should I first login?
You should login the first day of class. It’s a great idea to login the first day and print out the syllabus for the class. Please note: If you do not log into your class during the first week of class, you will be dropped from the class by your instructor so it is important to log in as soon as class starts!

How do I post a discussion response?
From the Discussions tab you will click the discussion topic you would like to respond to, then click Compose. Once you have typed your response, click Post.
I just enrolled into a course. Why don't I see it in D2L?

I don't own Office. Can I view Word, Excel or PowerPoint files?

Microsoft Office: If you do not have Microsoft Office on your computer, you can download a viewer to view Office documents. Microsoft Office Viewers

Mac OSX only: There are several free products which read Office documents, including OpenOffice. As of the writing of this article, OpenOffice does not read Office 2007 files.
I can't see the topics for my group.
This is usually caused by a configuration issue in the Discussion area. Contact your instructor as soon as possible with all the necessary information so we can resolve the problem.
How do I delete a file I uploaded?
You cannot delete a file once it has been uploaded -- only your instructor can.
Instead, upload a new version of the document. Your instructor has the resources available to tell the difference. To ensure he or she is aware of the mistake, contact your instructor directly.
I can't submit my quiz, what do I do?
- DO NOT continue to try to submit your quiz.
- Clear your browser's cache.
- Close your browser.
- Start your browser again and login to D2L.
- Start your quiz again.
If you are in a lab, you may wish to try using a different computer to continue your quiz.
If problems persist, contact D2L Support.
Why are my D2L pop-up windows being blocked?
There are a few possible causes of pop-up windows being blocked in D2L.
The Pop-up Blocker may be turned on in Internet Explorer. If this is the case, you need to add the D2L site to the list of allowed sites. Visit the Microsoft website to learn how to add our D2L site to the list of allowed sites.
The Yahoo! or Google Toolbar may be installed on your browser. If this is the case, you need to uninstall the toolbar in order for the pop-ups to work in D2L. Visit the Yahoo! webs site or the Google web site to learn how to uninstall the toolbar.
